Baltimore, MD 21226-1911
Dear Mr. Huppert
It gives me great pleasure to accept The Maryland
Saltwater Sportfishermen’s Association Scholarship Foundation into the Reef
Ball Foundation’s Grant Program, Reefs Around The World. The Reef Ball
Foundation places a high priority on environmental educational programs and
your letter demonstrates that your organization places a strong emphasis on
these types of projects as well as the preservation and the restoration of the
ocean eco-systems.
It will be in your programs best interest to confer
with us about the parameters of your project as it evolves. With your project
goals in mind, we can select the most appropriate size molds for your project
and give your group some helpful advice from past experiences. Please call and
we will be happy to assist in designing the ideal program for your specific
goals.
Under the guidelines of our grant program, MSSA will
qualify for a 40% reduced price off Reef Ball molds, a 10% discount off
finished Reef Balls and 1/3 reduction off Reef Ball training fees. As with the
terms of the grant program, we ask that your implement a monitoring program and
send us press clippings and periodic progress reports pertinent to Reef Ball
activities. (2 monitorings per year for
3 years.)
From reading over your grant application, I see you
have already put a lot of work and thought into this project. We look forward
to working with you in creating an exceptional Reef Ball project in Maryland.
Please contact us if you have any further questions regarding the terms of the
grant program.
Sincerely,
Katherine Kirbo
