Dear Mr. Jensen,

It gives me great pleasure to accept the Charlotte Harbor Reef Association into the Reef Ball Foundation’s Grant Program. We place a high priority on restoration projects and your letter and determination demonstrates that your organization places a strong emphasis on environmental awareness.

Mr. Barber has instructed me that the foundation will be providing 1 Bay Ball mold and 6 Lo Pro Balls molds for a 4 month period in 1999.

Grant Requirements:

Deposit:

In order to ship your molds, we must first receive your deposit of $4,120 which is fully refundable when the molds are returned in good condition. Your organization must pay all shipping costs.

Video Monitoring:

A monitoring plan must be in place to include a minimum of two underwater video tapings per year for a minimum of three years. (Any underwater photos you send in will be greatly appreciated!)

Publicity Plan:

A publicity plan should be in place that demonstrates environmental awareness and spreads the word regarding Reef Ball and the grant program.

Our requirements are implemented to achieve our mission of getting as many balls in the water as we can and video monitoring is essential to track our progress. We hope this project will be a great success for you. Please call if you have any questions regarding the grant requirements.
