The Dive Equipment and Marketing Association Show this year in New Orleans was a great show for the Reef Ball Development Group, Ltd. Being the third year that RBDG has displayed at DEMA, we saw many old friends. We made many new friends too. The show was attended by 15 "Reef Ballers" including Jerry Barber, co-inventor of the Reef Ball. Reef Ball's booth was in the Ocean Futures section of DEMA alongside the other non-profit groups. DEMA sponsored our booth, and for that Reef Ball thanks DEMA! The Reef Ball models went like hotcakes--we brought a whole pick-up truck full and went home empty handed. Six of them, and the Oyster Ball (in the lower left hand corner of the booth) are now on public display at the Aquarium of The Americas in New Orleans. All in all, the trade show was a great success for Reef Ball and our oceans!
